Misc Why is the Derya TM22 so famous?

I recently purchased a TM22 Pro, and was wondering what makes it so popular? I’ve seen it in the subreddit multiple times, what’s your favourite part about the firearm?

With the 10/22 magazine limit there are no great options for uncapped semi .22lrs. From what I see it's basically between the Remington 597, Pietta PPS50, and then misc. Turkish guns with the TM22 being the most ubiquitous, and the Kral more recently. You can also get a magazine adapter for the 10/22 but at that point you're kind of degrading the proven reliability of the 10/22 platform.

None of the uncapped mag options are of particularly fantastic quality, so why not buy the cheapest and arguably coolest looking ones? I say that as a 10/22 purist who owns no other semi 22lrs

I would prefer OEM Ruger magazines too, but the HC3R magazines run pretty well in my 10/22 once I figured out the loading method and ammo type (Federal AutoMatch). I do hate how the magazines pop apart at the worst possible time, but speed loading them is fantastic - 20 round in 5 -10 seconds.

The HC3R magazines are in short supply these days since DLASK closed down and TSC sold off a large batch in May.
