Misc Why is the Derya TM22 so famous?

I recently purchased a TM22 Pro, and was wondering what makes it so popular? I’ve seen it in the subreddit multiple times, what’s your favourite part about the firearm?

The OG aluminium ones with the 18" barrels were often tac drivers. The new ones since distro change are still cool but from what ive seen the quality isnt the same as before.

I’ve got one of those and with a shitty bipod and questionable scope I can punch a toonie 10 times at 50 yards. Good enough for squirrel hunting

The amount of times I’ve seen people state the tm22 isn’t accurate so “don’t bother putting anything more than a red dot”, on is wild. I was punching out centers last weekend at 50 yards, with a cvlife optic 2nd gen all aluminum 18”. It’s a fantastic tac 22. Mags suck tho lol

I’ve got 3 25 rounders and 4 10 rounders and the only ones I’ve ever had an issue with are the metal 10 rounders. I find they don’t set properly up in the magwell so they don’t grab the rounds

My plastic mags all keep having the follower back smashed by the bolt after the last round. Couldn’t figure out why it kept rim-locking after I was making sure each round was perfectly loaded. Cut the backs down but now no bolt hold open.
