.32 Auto.... That should have been prohib since .... forever? Like 90s?

What do you use it for?

The Skorpion only just got banned in 2024, you might be thinking of the small caliber pistols that were banned in the 90's, but the Vz.61 is classified as a rifle so was available up until 2024.

Don't use it for much now, mostly just looking and fondling haha

No, I meant, .32 caliber has been banned since 90s, right?

Nope, still fairly readily available, my local store has quite a bit in stock

No worries man, the regulations are all a convoluted mess to navigate anyway haha

That's interesting, I knew they were originally chambered in 32 ACP, but then assume that Canada only import the 380 ACP and 22lr variety.

Is .32 harder to get ammo for?

No sir, they had a run of .380, .22 and .32 around summer of 2024 if I remember the date correctly.

Not too hard no, I've been able to get .32 at two of my local stores here in Calgary reliably.

Ah, ok, since I only saw the 380ACP and 22lr variety at 2 different venders at the time, so I assume 32acp never made it.

Maybe someday, the Vz61 can see the light again!

Yeah there was definitely a few but I don't think they ever shipped in big numbers though, I'd love to put some rounds through it again, fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻
