Please elaborate? I worked at a Canadian tire in Calgary and that was the exact process for bear spray. Unless they decide to start requiring a pal for airsoft, that would be the process for registering the bb gun to a person.
Interesting, considering it is controlled by the Canada Pest Control Act and has a federal waiver that health Canada considers mandatory.
"Bear repellents are registered under the Pest Control Products Act; it is illegal to use a pest control product without following label directions. Please complete the following information in order to comply with the Pest Control Products Act of Canada..."
Probably someone new who was well meaning but didn’t know better. I can’t even buy a wera wrench without it having to be removed from a locked cage and escorted to the cash register.
