CT I shop at only does the bare minimum visual PAL check, and verification when buying a firearm. They only keep records of the purchase for the minimum required time and delete the info. Only info the government gets is notified that you had a reference number. Valid for 3 months and you can buy 1 gun or 10. I bought three on one number 2 months apart. Owner is a big time gun guy and the gun counter guy is too.
And they keep this info on a flash drive only which is kept in the safe, no hard drives, not in the cloud. They take privacy and the rights we have left serious.
