Got a smoking deal at my LGS. Smith and Wesson model 1854 in 30-30. About time I added a lever gun to the collection.

Glad to hear. Anything I should be aware of?

Already learned about the safety release pin. Nearly lost that when I did my break down and initial clean. Close call.

You need to rack the action very hard or else it can jam. You won’t break it 😂
