I've lived in 4 different countries, been a legal gun owner in 3 of them. Im an immigrant to Canada and have watched this country deteriorate first hand. I try to make the best of what I can here like all of us do with guns, but its dishonest to say that we have more freedom than USA or that our situation isnt straight fucked.

The Human Freedom Index disagrees with you that the USA has more freedom than us.

Oh sorry, you said Human "Freedom" Index? What governing body came up with that metric and who funds it?

Its an NGO that measures every country on various metrics. This guy gets a lot of propaganda in his socials.

I don't do social media. I travel and have a job and education that requires me to travel to foreign lands. You don't even try to one up me there pal.

Easy mistake to make, assuming a guy making points contrary to presented evidence is fueled by social media. Guess rephrasing is needed: "Guy thinks his anecdotes are above evidence." That more palatable?

Yeah. As a matter of fact, yeah. My lived experiences or anecdotal evidence is much more real than what others say it is. And I'm tired of pretending otherwise. Call me a fool all you want, but I see the world person by person, place by place, experience by experience.

I would not dare call you a fool. Even a fool can accept that lived experience does not constitute evidence other than testimony. Further still, you are supposedly too worldly. No, you are much worse. Confidently ignorant, maybe.

But hey, at least your straight up about it.

Man, come on. Get off the high horse. Lived experience is the most real evidence you'll ever receive. But if you want to judge others and call them ignorant, that's on you. I won't hold against you what you've been told to think about others who share different beliefs than you. So as long as you don't resort to violence, I don't care man. I can be civil.

No high horse. You're the worldly one here.

It is the most VIVID evidence one can receive, absolutely. Not the most 'real.' Eyes can deceive, worse still, so can people. If you are as worldly as you say then you should know.

You should hold it against me, I'm the one saying it, not some made up being you conjured. I own what I said. Funny you think someone told me to think you're ignorant. Its easy to minimize what someone is saying when you pass it off as not their own.

We are in agreement about violence.
