I keep hearing about this gas setting, can you explain it for us retards in plain English? Out the box, do I just turn the gas setting all the way to the right or what?

From my limited understanding without having seen the rifle irl, is that you follow the Manual in the opposite way. Switch it to what the Manual says is suppressed for it to work correctly unsuppressed
The adjustable gas block toggle has slot for inserting a flat head screwdriver. To ensure it is Unsuppresed mode, turn the toggle so the slot is vertical, perpendicular to the ground.
