I keep hearing about this gas setting, can you explain it for us retards in plain English? Out the box, do I just turn the gas setting all the way to the right or what?

. I've seen far too many write paragraphs about it, just tell me where to turn it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ thanks for all the recent uploads brotha.

From my limited understanding without having seen the rifle irl, is that you follow the Manual in the opposite way. Switch it to what the Manual says is suppressed for it to work correctly unsuppressed

As a fellow dummy pretty sure it looks like a flat head you just turn to the other way

The adjustable gas block toggle has slot for inserting a flat head screwdriver. To ensure it is Unsuppresed mode, turn the toggle so the slot is vertical, perpendicular to the ground. The original thread, including updated picture, is at the following link:ย https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/comments/1u488g7/makasi_gas_system_settings/

Still excited for it, seen a lot of people saying the pressure comes set to silencer spec, easy fix to switch it over and the Manual has it backwards.

Thanks for the update! The manual with the correct unsuppressed / suppressed setting on the adjustable gas block adjustment slot can be found at this link: https://brigadefirearms.com//pub/media/wysiwyg/Makasi%20manual%20.pdf . The one you find when you search Google or navigating from the Brigade Owner Manual is incorrect. I originally confirmed this back with Brigade in the below thread; I will have to contact them to get the main link version corrected. Thanks!

I hope if they send a paper copy of the manual with the ones coming to Canada that they send the corrected version!

- shoots less than 200 rounds

- shoots indoor at a target maybe 10m away

- lists standard gun parts like safety and charging handle as features

- canโ€™t fold the stock on camera

modern gun โ€œreviewsโ€

  • cries on reddit
  • thinks anyone owes him anything
  • expects studio quality production
  • likely used AI to visualize what the NR barrel looks like
  • won't buy his own to find out sooner like everyone else waiting for the NR model
  • probably doesn't even realize this guns out been for a few years and there's videos on YouTube

brother just donโ€™t call it a review if itโ€™s not one. itโ€™s a glorified unboxing, and he tells us nothing useful . spend some time shooting the gun and actually putting it through its paces, or just share a photo and call it a day. shooting it like this tells us nothing. but sure make weird assumptions that are all incorrect lmao

Other than the Reddit flair on the post, it doesn't even say review anywhere. It's clearly just an early first hands on experience OP was nice enough to share with us. Where do you miserable vocal folk come from?

. Go watch TFB TV if you want 500 round burn downs. This rifle literally just landed in Canada. Also, not everyone has nearby access to land they can shoot on to satisfy your expectations.

. Let us know when you recieve yours and post a 2000-round burn down in 4K with a 1-hour in depth review of every intricate detail.
