I couldn’t find one so I bought a BAR in 30-06, which is also a beautiful firearm - but there is just something about THIS gun as a scout platform…sexy as fuck.

The BAR was a great choice, and absolutely a beautiful rifle! I'm hoping Ruger will start back up their original scout line, seeing how popular they were. I tried the American gen 2, and although really nice as well, I still preferred the feel of the original

Oh ok so one of the good ones. Ever since they started making their guns in portugal they've been overpriced garbage rods.
