Even Olivia Chow is nodding along... which means some on the left know the Liberals' gun policies are performative and ineffective and are asking for real, substantive help.

I honestly believe most people think it’s a load of shit. But it’s the party line or the political ideals of their group to toe the line on firearms in Canada. It’s a screaming, Quebec-based, minority that makes it such a big issue. I’m not absolving those who perpetuate the attacks on our community I just can’t see how anyone with a brain actually believes it will work, yet they continue to push it since it doesn’t affect them personally
