News / Politics / Activism Winnipeg “rally against the gun grab”:

Anybody going to this today? What are you bringing for signs and such or do they generally have a pile you grab from once you show up (never been to any kind of protest before)

I think most people here would be shocked at the sheer number of police that are either gun owners, or highly sympathetic at the very least towards gun owners. And on how many have very clearly said they do not intend to comply should every doomsday posters fear come true and mass gun grabs start taking place. (In western Canada anyway)

In 12 years I can think of ONE violent crime committed by a legal gun owner with a legal gun. We (those of us actually on the ground) know damn well the Canadian firearms community is not the problem.

Unfortunately our fellow Canadians keep electing very anti firearms, and anti democratic process MPs and parties.
