I think that if Carney is the smart leader that people think he is. He will take this off ramp. It doesn't make sense financially and legally to keep pursuing this buy back. That stats are against them, the property rights are against them and going forward will only alienate the liberal party further. Liberal voters might even start to question their policies if they start seeing family members and neighbors being raided in the night by police men. Smart play is to let the courts side with gun owners and call it democracy in action.
That would be smart but imo they flat out want us disarmed. I think he will take the off ramp with the OICs but then force a bill through parliament banning all semi autos, then next year it’ll be pump and lever action “assault style rapid fire weapons”, then “bolt action sniper rifles”, and by then there’s gonna be some kind of war or national emergency that the NATO thugs drag us into where they can confiscate all weapons. I’m being intentionally pessimistic and ridiculous here.
In all seriousness I think he will just take the off ramp and maybe a bill will be put forwards but who knows. I really could see it going either way, but man, man do I hope this rules in our favour in the best ways possible
