Nothing will change. The bans will remain in place.

insofar as carney easily has the votes in parliment to pass any gun control he wants because even with a minority the NDP and bloc trip over themselves all the time to say how much they love gun control and want more of it.

its more it is struck down will carney decides he wants to spend the effort getting it through parliament or use the out to do something diffrent and much cheaper
