Fix my gun Help with screw removal!

Update

I drilled those screws out, 3 of them came out easily enough that I think I did not mess up the threads. I only botched 1. I am sure 3 screws and some locktight mixed with hope will hold the rail in place

Just got myself a Mossberg 590 Shockwave. Want to mount a laser/red dot on top of the receiver but not sure what type of screw these are. Internet says they should be flathead but they are clearly not. Can someone help with some tips please?

Like the other poster said, it looks like stripped out or poorly manufactured allen head cap screws. Try some allen keys in both metric and standard, you might get lucky. Otherwise, get yourself a good set of torx sockets. You can use one that is only slightly oversized and hammer it into the hole. The points of the torx should be lined up with the corners of the hex hole and they will cut themselves a place to grip. You may also need heat, however, the shock from the hammering usually helps break it free.

I don't actually think these are torx screws. They look close to it but all the pieces in the middle I believe are the anti theft locking type. You need a custom bit to remove these guys.

Also looks like someone tried to remove these guys without the hardware and royally fucked some of em

They're not torx screws, but you can use a torx bit to act somewhat like a screw extractor.
