What’s going on with Gunpost prices?

What makes people post their used guns for above new prices? I’m looking for a 10/22 brand new they’re about $419.99 in my area, but every post I’m seeing is like $500-$1000. Why would anyone pay more for a used gun? I’m not even talking about modified ones, or optics or anything. Just a standard wood stocked ruger 10/22 for like $800.

Legit half the gunpost users are trash. Gunact is a legit prick. Why he has so many 5 star reviews I have no idea. Gunact I genuinely hope you read this, you don't move anything you're selling for a reason
