Gun and gear reviews What’s going on with Gunpost prices?

What makes people post their used guns for above new prices? I’m looking for a 10/22 brand new they’re about $419.99 in my area, but every post I’m seeing is like $500-$1000. Why would anyone pay more for a used gun? I’m not even talking about modified ones, or optics or anything. Just a standard wood stocked ruger 10/22 for like $800.

Just people with sunk cost fallacy.

In their head they paid MSRP + tax therefore they should be able to get that money back in full because it's "like new". Some people will happily wait 8 months instead of losing 10% on their original purchase.

Stupid greed. Real recognize real.

On the flip side if I list something for 450 and the MSRP is 500 I will block your ass if you offer me 400. It's already priced as QUICK SELL.

Your product your price, whether someone pays that or not is a different thing.
