Gun and gear reviews What’s going on with Gunpost prices?

What makes people post their used guns for above new prices? I’m looking for a 10/22 brand new they’re about $419.99 in my area, but every post I’m seeing is like $500-$1000. Why would anyone pay more for a used gun? I’m not even talking about modified ones, or optics or anything. Just a standard wood stocked ruger 10/22 for like $800.

I feel like a lot of people do it because they hope to recoup the price they paid when they bought it, which includes taxes and stuff. Either way, its a used gun site, so they can ask whatever they want, doesn’t mean they’ll get it, and you can offer whatever you’re willing to pay.
