Sorry folks. Thread closed. Some people couldn't contain their hatred for those of Indian descent. 6 people were banned by Reddit Admins (not us subreddit mods) from this thread alone.

Look at the offenders. They’ve never put a piece of trash where it belongs in their lives.

u/pooshlinger Jul 05 '26

Have you seen their country of origin? It’s cultural and will take a generation for them to integrate. Disgusting behaviour but it’s a learned behaviour and will take education to change.

Thing is they should have researched and been willing to live by Canadian culture before they moved here.

63

u/Flat-Dark-Earth Big Bore Specialist Jul 05 '26

We used to have a values test for all new immigrants being admitted into this country.

7

u/DoorNational5903 Jul 05 '26

I live in an area without many Indians... and this shit is all over the local shooting spots.

5

u/KiloNorrth Jul 06 '26

While I don't disagree with this comment..

I do feel it's important to add, at least in my personal experience, my range is absolutely filled with members (mostly whites) who behave exactly like this. 99% of the time, at any given lane, i'll find heaps of shells and casings. Indoors and out.

I'll admit it's a little different from crown land, but in my opinion it's such an embarrassing aspect of our local community. I don't get why people feel that paying for membership excuses them of any cleaning responsibility.

Lets do better folks!

35

u/Popfartshart Jul 05 '26

Most of us are far right racist non law abiding gun owners tho so this is clearly not a reasonable approach according to certain government officials

Ikr. Assholes. Gonna ruin it for everyone

12

u/Solitary_Solidarity Jul 06 '26

Its their culture. Gotta tolerate it.

273

u/Bulld4wg45 Jul 05 '26

This kind of behaviour will ruin it for everybody.

152

u/GooseGosselin Jul 05 '26

I try not to be a conspiracy theorist.....but I think that's the plan.

70

u/Brapika Jul 05 '26

The tinfoil hat types are right more often than not. It probably is the plan.

This is why we lost access to Sibbald years ago and Ghost wont be far behind. People bring out their trash to use as targets and then leave all their brass, shells, and packaging garbage everywhere. These public use range areas attract the worst of our community.

30

u/Significant_Step_517 Jul 05 '26

I had a round fly over my head once when I was fly fishing jumping pound creek, just about a half click from the bridge on homestead road. This was shortly after they shut the area down for shooting, some joker pulled up and put a round through the no-shooting sign, not knowing I was down range.

410

u/bcw_83 Jul 05 '26

This infuriates me, zero respect for anything.

87

u/dubhri Jul 05 '26

That's kind of what I'm getting at...

20

u/GreaseShots Jul 05 '26

Yup. Every time I see an arrest report or wanted alert it’s always the usual suspects… especially if it’s a s*x crime or involves violence.

347

u/HIGHestKARATE Jul 05 '26

Hey man, you should report this to both the rcmp and conservation officers.

37

u/Atoryl Jul 05 '26

An EPA charge would be a stretch for something like this, especially for police.

53

u/framspl33n Jul 05 '26

Doesn't mean it shouldn't be reported

20

u/The_King_of_Canada mb Jul 05 '26

Tfs an EPA charge?

14

u/zeeloniusfunk Jul 05 '26

Seems like something the King would know

19

u/The_King_of_Canada mb Jul 05 '26

I do know. We dont have an epa.

15

u/zeeloniusfunk Jul 05 '26

The king has spoken

8

u/Madworldsnight Jul 05 '26

Dude idk why but this killed me for real 😭 😂

3

u/Vast_Horizon47 Jul 05 '26

Assuming it’s the environment protection act

5

u/OCTS-Toronto Jul 05 '26

I'm not sure about that. Reporting it will hurt everyone. Quietly cleaning it up would be a better solution.

Sadly, not much good comes from working with the authorities in this stuff. Just ends up as a CBC article on why people should not have guns.

11

u/infiniti711 Jul 05 '26

We don't need more reasons to restrict our use

Assholes. I always clean up other people’s left over beer cans at my usual site on crownland. Drives me insane.

17

u/DafuqStonr Jul 05 '26

Emptiesss$$$$sss!

62

u/Ancient_Accountant49 Jul 05 '26

That is when someone places a camera and do “random” stops.

I hope you reported this and yes… some apparently only behave after a nice bite on the paycheck and some time away from privileges to reflect on what they do.

Fuck this !

55

u/Trick-Goat-3643 Jul 05 '26

As should be done with ANYONE who acts this way...
Internet do your thing: Name and Shame

88

u/brewski_tumble Jul 05 '26

Pretty good chance at surname being Singh

43

u/SW_Shadow Jul 05 '26

Ghost is notoriously bad for it. I always bring one more trash bag than I need to clean my own stuff and I always bring it back full because there is always someone else's mess to be found. Sadly, all the pollution contributes to good arguments for banning shooting on crown land.

44

u/Large_Excitement69 Jul 05 '26

I don’t even go to Ghost anymore because of this and a lot of unsafe practices.

24

u/EnvironmentalFox7532 Jul 05 '26

Same as a few spots close to Edmonton I use to go to. I’m done with shooting at a few spots NE of Edmonton for the same reasons.

Just going to buy a membership at one of the gun clubs after hunting season. I have access to a large area of private land and all varmints I want to shoot for target practice not far from the city. But having access to club ranges and indoor will get me out more especially when it’s -30 come winter.

39

u/MindYaBiznessMmk Jul 05 '26

I’ve seen enough, import 3.7 million more of them.

60

u/Relevant_Diver_3228 Jul 05 '26

people can be pigs we need to do better before they close up more spots

56

u/sfv47 Jul 05 '26

Last pic is a shocker 🙄

209

u/WSBBroker Jul 05 '26

The Ganges River looked like pristine crown land at one point

68

u/WeightedDips95 Jul 05 '26

Nu Canadian shit

20

u/ImCryingTearsOfBlood Jul 06 '26

Look how they treat their own country. Don’t be surprised that they don’t assimilate.

59

u/J96_Delta Jul 05 '26

I'm a brown guy (not indian) and this infuriates me so much. Because I clean up after myself and treats others and my environment with utmost respect. But I'll be judged and made fun of.. just because the color my skin is the same as these asshats.

36

u/FalseFactsOrg Jul 05 '26

Yeah man same here, second generation Punjabi and I can’t stand what these guys are doing to our image

Fucking India

75

u/ffrankgauthss Jul 05 '26

Yup those guys again ! Looks just like every truck stop and rest areas you’ll see across Canada

14

u/TheBulletBuddy Jul 05 '26

Take pictures of them and the vehicle and report it to conservation

15

u/Critical_cheese Jul 05 '26

Didn't surprise me

30

u/Top_Importance6216 Jul 05 '26

muh pattern recognition

13

u/looking_fordopamine Jul 05 '26

I spent about 5 minutes picking up a bunch of spent cartridges. Really didn’t take long and wasn’t hard F all.

38

u/Smooth_Engineer3355 Jul 05 '26

They’re used to the magic river taking trash away.

123

u/DougMacRay617 Jul 05 '26

Is anyone really suprised?

1

u/The_King_of_Canada mb Jul 05 '26

Yes actually. I didnt know Indians liked to shoot. Dont worry though the people that leave their shells behind where i live are all white.

Assholes

27

u/scared_star Jul 05 '26

Gonna end up making our rivers look like theirs if they keep this up 😔

26

u/Nero29gt Jul 05 '26

Oh FFS. Of course it was.

12

u/theluckyllama Jul 05 '26

Absolute trash human behavior.

Also, I thought Ghost was closed for firearm use? Did that change recently?

11

u/DryF1re Jul 05 '26

more of those clowns eh? surprised their guns werent pointed straight up in the air

39

u/BustDownBreacher1301 Jul 05 '26

Surprised you didn’t find any poop

10

u/1n2uition Jul 05 '26

This is the same group I reported last year, past a Cons truck on my way out and gave them some details. Guessing not much came from it.

10

u/cc88291008 Jul 05 '26

These are the people that give gun owners a bad rep.

10

u/M1CAustin Jul 05 '26

Looks clean by their standards

11

u/m1_Ping_Enthusiast Jul 05 '26

I knew before swiping

20

u/franc3sthemute Jul 05 '26

I really do feel for how prevalent the racism towards Indians are right now, but at the same time I knew exactly what the guilty party here would look like

15

u/WeightedDips95 Jul 06 '26

I feel like it’s a natural resentment forming from completely irresponsible immigration policy

8

u/Popfartshart Jul 05 '26

What a bunch of fuckin cockasses

8

u/tyler111762 Resident Certified Millennial Punk Jul 05 '26

last time i was in ghost, not only did i find a pile of garbage like this, someone had literally shit on top of an empty pack of PBR and left it in the middle of the camp site.

fucking disgusting behavior.

4

u/Krazee9 on Jul 05 '26

someone had literally shit on top of an empty pack of PBR

You sure it wasn't just the last can?

9

u/Current-Speed4096 Jul 06 '26

why am I not surprised

58

u/Brapika Jul 05 '26

Starting to be of the opinion non-citizens should not be getting PALs in the first place. At least it wasn't just dumped in the river this time.

My unfiltered opinion will get me jannied.

4

u/WeightedDips95 Jul 06 '26

I agree although I don’t see why an immigrant of European ancestry shouldn’t be allowed to. We already have racially discriminatory gun laws so why not. Not all immigrants are the same

4

u/Brapika Jul 06 '26

Top-tier sarcastic bait proposition. I used to have an arm every member of the populace attitude, but the populace is now regarded.

7

There is a cultural issue at play here.

Is this the guy that advertises shooting parties on FB in Ontario with a whole B Roll of him and his buddies shooting into the air next to a river. In the comments he argues day and night that they absolutely "leave no trace" and people are constantly calling him out on it.

8

u/PresidentialBruxism Jul 05 '26

I dont know how you guys tolerate that. Havent seen or heard of them in crown lands here in Quebec yet

10

u/TescoValueSoup Jul 06 '26

Quebec has language tests for most visa types, that’s why.

7

u/Elite163 Jul 05 '26

Anyone surprised???

25

u/JrgiAff Jul 05 '26

Looks like a pattern of total ignorance to the rules/safety and common sense practices by certain majority minority groups.

Hating online won’t help, may be reach to their community and educate? Organize clean up?

6

u/IslandMiner Jul 05 '26

Garbage cultures doing their normal garbage behavior

6

u/RoundRefuse1740 Jul 05 '26

They’re going to ruin it for everyone that follows the rules

6

u/CaptainGoeland Jul 06 '26

Print the photos on sticker paper and stick it to their cars next time they come

5

u/Matty_bunns Jul 06 '26

Why is it always guys like these?!

21

u/Routine_Chest_1171 Jul 05 '26

Once I saw the last picture this all made sense and I dont understand why they think its ok to do that jus terrible an not saying all the mess is there's jus we know how they operate

12

u/WeightedDips95 Jul 06 '26

Because immigration is so permissive it’s no longer seen as a privilege to be here and progressives tell them Canada js evil and racist so why would they have any respect?

9

u/Whispers69420 Jul 05 '26

Waiporous? It's bad out there

17

u/SerGT3 Jul 05 '26

It's terrible.. I filled up a 50L tote with just shells alone yesterday.. not including the 200 I ran through.

6

u/ryan9991 ALBERTA Jul 05 '26

Good job, I normally bring a tote out and try to fill it up, it’s only a small dent but it’s better than nothing

8

u/Whispers69420 Jul 05 '26

Good on ya dude, last time I was there there was burnt camping chairs and shit... And they were just shooting straight into the air not even aiming at anything... Cringe fiesta

5

u/Joe-diesel-7 Jul 05 '26

unbelievable.

5

u/MagicBear24 Jul 05 '26 edited Jul 05 '26

Buy one of these, game changer (or something similar to this).

https://www.basspro.ca/p/mojo-pick-stick

4

u/OkAbbreviations8669 Jul 05 '26

I would've told them to pick their trash and explain why it's important to keep these places clean (like anywhere else).

6

u/Relevant_Diver_3228 Jul 06 '26

Yes because approaching a group of 5 armed people who probably not like to be told that they are wrong is a good idea

4

u/Greenxgrotto Jul 05 '26

Civic responsibility

5

u/baconpizzaman Jul 05 '26

I can understand missing a shell here and there, especially if they're small... But this is just outright disrespectful and totally against what this country stands for

6

u/blackjimhalpert Jul 05 '26

Last time I was in Ghost area the Conservation Officer told us they expect the area to be shut down shortly. It's the closest to Calgary and gets the most abuse.

We saw trees shot in half, trash piled in the trees, fields of shotgun shells. Genuinely depressing.

9

u/Strong-Owl-55 Jul 05 '26

I went shooting yesterday and besides leaving my paper target there and 3-5 casings i lost i even went back when I forgot a can i shot up about 75 shotgun shells and about 50 cartridges. Just different cultures

8

u/37BJJ Jul 05 '26

Pieces of shit

5

u/infiniti711 Jul 05 '26

Send location. If it's nearby I would bring trash bins and clean this up.

3

u/Conscious_Bid_8762 Jul 05 '26

Pickup after your self your mommy doesn’t live here

4

u/Big_Ladinio Jul 05 '26

There was a user a bit ago that spoke about a group effort to clean up, is that still a thing and when is the next one. I use the ghost area too and it's always so bad.

4

u/SERB79 Jul 05 '26

What a fucking luzers, because of people like this we get shift by police on crown land

5

u/grifter_shifterM5 Jul 06 '26

Smh always an embarrassment to the fucking community. Do better Punjabi bros

10

u/gugz92 Jul 05 '26

Man I'm a second gen Canadian and my parents worked so hard to integrate into Canadian culture. It genuinely hurts to see some old stereotypes being perpetuated again

3

u/FV_AverageJoe97 Jul 05 '26

Sylvester Road FSR in Mission BC is a literal OCEAN of shells just like this, even though there is a shooting ban there. A woman had a stray bullet land in her car with her young son earlier this year.

3

u/VelkaFrey Jul 05 '26

tHiS iS wHy FeEs ArE NeCeSaRY

3

u/RudePrior2220 Jul 05 '26

This is disgusting.

After I moved I always wanted to go out on crown land to shoot, but I don't know anyone who would go with me. And this is definitely one of the reasons why I don't go alone.

I think I would also not feel safe around those guys.

2

u/adrenalineJ92 Jul 05 '26

Come on people, let’s do better.

2

u/yahumno mb Jul 06 '26

I despise people like this.

At one range that were used to have memberships at, I would regularly pick up bags of trash at the handgun range.

Between this, and people not knowing how to safely handle firearms, we switched to a different range that requires references.

3

u/Asleep_Log1377 Jul 05 '26

Now that range looks like Milton lol.
