Starting to be of the opinion non-citizens should not be getting PALs in the first place. At least it wasn't just dumped in the river this time.

I agree although I don’t see why an immigrant of European ancestry shouldn’t be allowed to. We already have racially discriminatory gun laws so why not. Not all immigrants are the same

Top-tier sarcastic bait proposition. I used to have an arm every member of the populace attitude, but the populace is now regarded.

It’s this type of blanket thinking that leads to extremism. I’m not a citizen yet, but I work in the firearms industry, I own and shoot, and I respect the land that I shoot on always try to leave a place better than I found it.

Citizen vs Non-Citizen shouldn’t be the benchmark, the ability to understand and respect the land and laws of the country you live in, should be a mandatory requirement.

It isn't extremism to expect foreigners to respect my country. If they can't do that they shouldn't get the privilege, not rights, of this land.

It’s not, and I agree with you that everyone should respect the land and laws of where they are. But thinking that citizenship would magically change the attitude of people who are disrespectful, is pretty extreme.

I don’t care about status, these idiots clearly don’t require the brain power to handle firearms safely or respect the environment for others. A Canadian passport won’t suddenly pull their head out their asses.

So more gun control? The government salivates at any reason to take away gun privileges from this country, don’t give them another reason because these people are causing a mess. Government will always use every reason they can to gain more and more control.

These people hurt our cause. Don't be so purposely obtuse.

Im pretty sure the people that “hurt our cause” is literally the government that’s taking our firearms away. The people that hurt our cause are the ones causing mass shootings and engaging in violent gun crimes, these are the issues the government uses to fuel gun control, not these immigrants (as problematic as they are). We as a PAL/RPAL population shouldn’t be eating away at our own population, that just makes us smaller in numbers and easier to control.

How do you know theyre non citizens?

I developed a machine that allows me to view their entire life omnisciently about where they grew up. I accidentally touched the water and developed sepsis, send help.

And that tells you their citizenship status?

Im of the opinion we need less restrictions and besides if you oppress noncitizens they will just use stolen ,smuggled or homemade firearms instead

It's not oppression to not give these people something they don't have a right to. If a newcomer to this country is going to go a criminal route with firearms then they should never have been allowed to come here in the first place.

All humans should have access to firearms for a number of reasons. The fact in canada that its a privilege instead of a right is already an issue. now you advocate for removing the right to particular groups of people its only opening the door to further restrictions and one day you might lose the privilege yourself when you fall into one of the categories

This is becoming a tangent but Canada should sue these countries or withhold there monies in correlation with there citizens abroad.
