Shooting Happy Birthday America!

Felt today would be a fitting day to take out my 1976 Ruger Blackhawk.

I know over a dozen Canadians who have moved to the US yet none moving to Somalia. Why is that? Owning firearms is certainly a right and an aspect of freedom. Your attitude is exactly why Canada ended up with restrictions and bans. Keep treating it like a privilege and it will be eroded bit by bit. The last 3 decades are proof of that.

It is a privledge. The US has the worst crime rates of any developed country and they dont even use the 2nd like they claim theyre supposed to.

Their government is more corrupt than it ever has been. Blatent bribery across the board, gross nepotism, and a complete disregard for the law in letter or spirit.

A 40 year old mother was charged with terrorism for saying deny, defend, depose youre next to a rep from her insurance company.

Anericans routinely get large sums of cash removed under "suspicion" of it being profits of crime.

Their privacy laws are a joke, their personal data is legally sold to the highest bidder. Their data centers are raising water prices for locals. And protections from private companies poisoning their water tables or food supply have been stripped.

For fucks sakes theeres a dozen billionaires in the white house who make billions more every year because they get the heads up on how Trumps going to fuck the stock market next.

But hey. You can buy an AR. Not an LMG though thats where they draw the line.

Its a hit country and doesnt even crack the top 10 on the international freedom index.

Need some spell check there, buddy. I think you're a bit angry, take a breather. Maybe some range time (just not with an AR cause you're not allowed)

You don't think there are criminals in Canada with handguns? What an absurd statement.

Nowhere near the amount the states has. Enough shit arguments already.

Still angry today? It is not a shit argument. You cannot buy an AR or a handgun because you are not free to do so and your attitude is exactly why. Enjoy your bolt actions while you can because those will be banned too.

That is illegal in Quebec, Manitoba, Sask too isn't it?

That was legalized recreationally at a federal level in 2018.

Public consumption of cannabis varies by province although enforcement is another thing. You can also use cannabis recreationally in several US states.

No idea. I do know people are spending decades in prison for weed possession in the states. And then being denied their right to buy guns.

It is. Same in Calgary although enforcement is rare. I will agree with you cannabis should be legal in the US but I'd take ARs and handguns over cannabis any day.
