Buy recommendations LPVO opinions
Debating between an Alex homebrew LPVO (love the cost and the fact it comes with rings- no warranty and isn’t tall enough to fit over flip down irons)
Or a vortex venom/crossfire 2 (like the warranty - don’t love the cost + rings)

I bought a UUQ 1-6 on Amazon and it has treated me wonderfully, borderline abused it and it still holds zero. $160

What caliber do you use it on?? I just killed a Victoptics S4.... didn't realize it was only rimfire rated... now I know.

If you are put it on a tm22, go vector optics global and buy the s6. It comes with free rings and it has an illuminated red dot.
Best bang for the buck. Trust me.

Have you tried the s6 on larger calibers? Considering getting one for my 7.62 x39, but killed a s4 not long ago

I would guess it can survive normal volume of 7.62*39 shooting. It can definitely sustain 5.56. Although the rings need some loctite for sure.

I might try it out then, it's for a bolt action 7.63 x39, so no rapid fire.
Did you get the normal one or the fiber extra bright illumination one??? And what did you think of the illumination?

Illumination is fine. Although me personally, I’m not a big fan of illumination. If you are hunting with it I would choose the one with illumination. The contrast is helpful. If you are only shooting targets then the illumination does not make a huge difference.
I have the one with illumination, I like it but I don’t turn the light on very much.

I have the Alex Homebrew and I'm very happy with it. I have it on an SKS right now. I might try it on my TM22 at some point, but that thing is dialed in with a 1x prisim and 3x magnifier and I don't want to mess with it.

If your just tossing it in a 22 I’d go with one from Amazon both the cvlife and pusina ones I have are awesome

What its going on makes a big difference, ive got a Burris RT6 lpvo on my Renegade and its always treated me well. Zeroed it a couple years ago and hasnt moved/changed since. It always get a +1 from me.
On the cheaper range, im heavily considering the homebrew lpvo for a homesteader and tm22 eyeing up. Ive heard good things about his optic.
