Ontarian expat living in BC who married a québécoise.

First, people in Québec haven't identified with France since the 1760s, when the French sold them down the river to keep their sugar colonies in the carribean.

Second, Montréal is not Québec. Rural québécois and those around Québec City think very differently.

Third, I dont get why Québec always gets targeted here when the downtown Toronto crowd is just as bad, and just as vocal.

Quebec is targeted because they always elect anti gunners. Alberta and sask don't.
