Misc Gun cabinet for the poors

Finally finished my makeshift Amazon only gun locker for my apartment. It’s obviously not built to keep a determined person or a fire out but it keeps me legal. Total cost was $320.

Doesn't the ammo need to be separate? Or is it okay because they are both locked up?

queue debate over "it cannot readily be broken open or into; and

(c) it is not readily accessible to ammunition"

I would say that ammo needs to be locked up better

But it looks like all the guns have locks on them

the GRC do not care if you store it in the same locked container as your guns

if I remmber my reading, "readily accessible" caselaw has often meant just not touching the gun

...if MDF qualifies as cannot readily be broken open or into in court

I have a magazine in my safe next to my CZ Shadow, usually touching but not in the gun, but it's a safe.

And never ever take the word of a police officer over the actual law
