We must draw a clear line between 'accidental shooting mishaps' and 'intentional gun crimes.'

Gun regulation should be utilized solely as a safeguard against accidents. It is a mistake to think regulations can deter criminal acts; instead, our focus should be on crime prevention. (Advocating for an AR-15 ban, for example, is not the solution to stopping violent crime.)

Seriously, what is the point of facing a criminal and chanting, 'Abracadabra Wingardium Leviosa! You can't use an AR-15'? It’s completely pointless.

I stumbled upon an interesting, albeit concerning, fact about the police in Canada: they allegedly only conduct live-fire training once a year, limited to just 30 rounds, and lack specialized training in firearm control.

I don't know for certain if this is true—it’s the kind of repulsive nonsense often spewed by gun control advocates—but if it is true, it’s alarming. It means they’re openly carrying Glocks despite being fundamentally undertrained. How can anyone with a straight face claim that this is enough to stop gun-related crimes? What exactly are they trying to achieve?(What's worse is that they’re trying to pin the responsibility on PAL holders)

It's been said a number of times that many of the gun owners (legal ones) in Canada have more range time in one season than many of the LEOs for an entire year. Of course, there are officers who go to the range in their down time as hobbyists, but overall it would seem they are woefully undertrained.

Many don't, which is why they only do the minimum. It's only the hobbyists that actually hold a PAL/rPAL
