Misc Does this look normal

Just bought a new pump and went to clean it. Never had a pump before, is this a Crack or is this how its manufactured? Basically is there any worry in shooting this gun as I was planning to go out tomorrow lol.

small imperfections in the metal is usually not to be worked about. However judging from where it’s located i’d make sure it doesn’t effect the proper locking in of the barrel.

It locks in fine, I was more or less worried about the high pressure inside the firearm. Im completely new to guns, and have never really taken them apart and looked at components before, only what was required in the pal course. Sorry if I sound kinda dumb lol

It’s not the chamber, so i don’t think it will blow up and disfigure your face. I’m more worried about the barrel being launched, which depending on where you grip it could hurt your hand

Gotcha, I was just fiddling around with it and it definitely locks in tight. Appreciate the info
