News / Politics / Activism Sks panic sales

Anybody notice that since the incident in Montreal, Sks prices on gun post have dropped by a few hundred bucks?

Seems to be a panic selling spree going on.

This incident is not one that the government wants to dwell on, seeing that a police officer shot a civilian and it's on video. You know those bureaucrats are all connected at the top.

When the civilian death ratio is 1:1 between a deranged gunman and the police it's not a good look. Memory holed just like Tumbler Ridge.

I wonder if the civilian was a firehall

And the kid was an incel leftie communist, not a separatist right kid. They’ll want to bury this one fast

It's one of those incidents that at least some part of it makes every faction look bad, so most people are incentivised to sweep it under the rug.

He's already proved he's willing to waste capital on this. Hopefully with his "majority " he'll feel less pressured to screw many to please just a small group.

As someone who despises the Liberals, I feel Carney has been doing well so far. This and the developer bailout are my only complaints. Let's hope he's logical on this.

I don't disagree with you on a lot here, but I'll say that Carney is good at looking like he's doing well so far.

I feel like he's not actually really doing much, just saying a lot of things, and Canadians are buying it

I give everyone a fair chance. Trudeau blew that chance very fast. Carney is still tolerable, the next year will show his true colours.

I was in the same boat as you until recently. He seemed to not be accomplishing much. Then he dropped his Davos speech and changed the world wide trajectory in these Trumpian times. The world was letting Trump do whatever he wanted. Now, people are starting to push back. Not enough pushback, but it's a start.

Ok, now I see why you think he is doing well. You are lazer focused on Trump. Try paying attention to what is happening in Canada.

To be fair trump has hurt Canada enough we are talking. About Canada, you know anyone working in forestry ? Or ………..

Has he? Seems our own government is the one hurting us.

I agree ours sucks and has for almost two decades… but trumps a douche bag and hasn’t helped the world economy

I have to give him points for when he was asked bluntly about banning the SKS and brought up listening to the police and bail reform, rather than entertain the idea of another ban.

Hearing any Liberal politician mention bail reform in a manner indicating it needs to be tightened is something I never thought I would hear.

Undemocratically bribing his way to a majority is a big complaint of mine as well

Bill C-9? C-22? C-63? C-16? Bypassing democracy? Come on man.

You feel Carney is doing well so far? He is full on Totalitarian.

Poly never moves on.

Not until every gun is banned and taken from us.
