News / Politics / Activism Sks panic sales
Anybody notice that since the incident in Montreal, Sks prices on gun post have dropped by a few hundred bucks?
Seems to be a panic selling spree going on.

I picked up someones regret yesterday, came with all the goodies. Albeit tho a lot of these people probably picked them up for $250 or maybe even cheaper so they still are making 500-600. So far 5 have gone through my licence and I have dispersed them to family. But picked up the nicest one by far happened to be 1954 Tula.

Yup… used to be $99 for Chinese SKS, $299 for the amazing Yugo version, the M59/66 or $399 at Marstar with a crate of ammo. That was pretty much the price between the late ‘90s to early ‘00s

Yeah but gas also used to be 70 cents a litre and now its 1.50. And if youre old enough you can remember sub 60 cents too. And penny candies turned to nickel candies turned to 5 dollar plastic containers with 50 cents worth of 5 cent candies in em.
Unfortunately not the case anymore but what do you do.

Prices may not immediately go up especially regionally but sales volume goes up due to fear.
If there is a new jump in price of the sks from retailers then they all usually go up the same time. But retailers don't want to be left holding the bag so they may run sales or drop the price.
Its a mixture of behaviours when uncertainty strikes.

When they announced it last year all the sheep were selling them at $450/$500
They were all marked Sold on Gunpost too
Good on buyers to snap them up
I scored a minty honor guard chrome plated for $550 shipped
I feel really bad for people who live in fear and panic sell
I feel even more bad for people who are scared to buy stuff because " it might get banned"
If you are panic selling or scared to buy, just give up your PAL and get out of firearms completely

Lmao 🤣 some people don’t like spending a large amount of money on something that’s likely to become a paperweight in the near future.

Haha what a way to live , you can always make more money in the future, but you cant always buy a certain firearms
Paperweights and safe queens dont exist in a real man's life

There was an influx but prices haven't really moved at least for the french ticklers. I've been watching prices because I wanted to buy one and they've been selling for about $750 to 900$.
I did end up buy and receiving mine the same day he shot up the place.

I saw this all last year in September I knew prices would rise so I'm glad I got it than a month after I got it they went for 600 to 800

Lol what? Where are you at, and can I come visit on an SKS buying trip? They've hit consistent four figures here since the incident.
