Misc Bear Creek Arsenal BC-8

I was wandering around youtube when I came across a SmallArmsSolutions review for this particular platform. Somewhat interestingly, it seems mostly C-21 compliant? It has a proprietary 5 round magazine and seems to be extended to work with their proprietary BC-8 uppers, so it's not AR-10 compatible. Thoughts on whether or not this would actually be legal to import into Canada? I suspect it might be caught on being an "AR Variant" but it'd be interesting to hear all of your thoughts.

If any magazine over 5 rounds exists that it can take, and it was designed after C-21, its prohibited. If it was before, then that doesn't matter.

Unfortunately, for FRT purposes, the marketing ties itself to ARs

Running some of the biggest calibers, the Huntmaster redefines hunting with an AR.

So while it could maybe get a NR FRT. Things like that mean it almost certainly does not.

Yeah, I was noticing they really stress how similar it is to an AR even though the recievers seem distinct and incompatible with existing AR-10s. That was the one thing that I was wondering if it would kill it if anyone tried to import it.
