This is about narrative control - let's talk about the gun instead of the social issues that led the guy to commit this crime. They don't want to have that conversation. They label him an incel to dismiss any legitimate concern - a word that shuts down any conversation of male suppression in society. Why can't we talk about that? Why is weakening men seen as a social good? Its not good.
