I could not share or comment on the original post. So here is the original post

There are two reasons the firearms were removed from the RCMP museum.

  1. The current CEO is anti firearms and will not let any resemblance of firearms or anything about them in anything they offer.

  2. They were too cheap to replace the glass and so based on current conservatory rules and law they can’t be placed in there anymore. TBH this display was the best part of the museum.

The Museum CEO should be fired for failing at the job of not representing history factually.

I am so tired of people who virtue-signal. It's time for them to become extinct.

Not displaying artifacts they may or may not have isn't really changing how they represent history.

Museums often have artifacts, and that's great. But they also have plenty of stuff that's just text, photos, and videos.

I think they're being super cheap deciding not to upgrade the glass to display what they have. But that's very different from what you're suggesting
