My build Ruger Scout Gen II

Picked up a Gen II Ruger Scout in 308 today. Not nearly as solid or pretty as my Gunsite Scout, but I'll put a Burris Scout scope on it and see how it shoots this weekend. Also, anyone know what the little black knurled thing that came in the box is?

I really want this in 5.56, but might take forever to reach Canadian shelves unfortunately

Order from Irunguns's US website.

Costs over $1500 after all is said and done though (shipping from US and GST and conversion).

Considering the Cdn retail of the .308 scouts are $1200 I'll just wait haha
