Dude invited some armed police to have a shootout with him. He didn't target any unarmed civilians. It's a scummy thing to do and only detrimental to others, but it's not cowardly.

Not really. If I kill someone in self-defense it's not cowardly at all, or the defense of innocents. Do you think the cop who shot this guy was cowardly then?

No, killing people at random is cowardly. Most people have the brainpower to distinguish self defense and senseless killing. Clearly, you lack that mental capacity. I hope you do not have a firearms license.
