I suspect the government would *love* to ban the SKS and appease many groups, but with the current court case above their head and the fact the SKS is the most common centre-fire semi-auto (prob like 500k in the country), I think they might hold back considering the pushback already. They’ll be pissing off all the fudds and indigenous now so there’ll be too much pushback politically it’ll go past the tipping point. But then again, this government is stupid as fuck so who knows lol

Yeah fingers crossed that they get scared from political pushback. Also fingers crossed that they get the brain capacity to understand that the shooter is the problem and not the sks itself lol
