Recurring Canadaguns Politics and Debate Thread

Please post all your Gun Politics or Ban-related ideas, questions, initiatives, comments, suggestions, news articles, and recommendations in this thread. This thread recurs every 14 days.

First and foremost, this is a Canadian Gun subreddit, so keep it at least decently related to both of those things.

This thread is not for general politics, there are plenty other subs that are meant for that. Off-topic threads may be removed, especially if they are leading to personal attacks, flame wars, etc.

To prevent the main sub being flooded with dozens of similar threads, text posts complaining about/asking about/chatting about gun politics will be sent here.

We understand that politics is a touchy subject, and at times things can get heated. A reminder of the subreddit rules, when commenting, where subreddit users are expected to abide.

Keep this Canadian gun politics related and polite. Off-topic stuff, flame wars, negative generalizations against groups, personal attacks and gate-keeping will be removed. Please flag any comments to bring to the attention of mods otherwise exercise your upvoting and downvoting ability.

I feel like this country has completed its descent into total madness and will stay firmly at the bottom of that abyss. Even the CPC carry on like it’s business as usual as utter lunacy runs rampant through all our major institutions. Canada is irrevocably fucked.

The only thing we would get from the CPC is maybe our guns back. That’s it. That’s the only thing. Everything else they would be at the same levels of the liberals for. Just a different flavour of shit.

Well I’m sure C-69 would be shit-canned too but who knows if the CPC would have the stomach to put up with the fucking screeching from the idiots who think Canada has a meaningful role in climate change. I only care about the guns at this point though. Canada is too broken to be meaningfully fixed in any other department.

Quite frankly I think the world is. We literally have let billionaires ruin the planet so they can have a little bit more fucking gold shavings on their food. We have let rich pedos go virtually unpunished. It’s disgusting behaviour and quite frankly why I am a prepper. This shit isn’t sustainable and won’t last.
