Recurring Canadaguns Politics and Debate Thread

Please post all your Gun Politics or Ban-related ideas, questions, initiatives, comments, suggestions, news articles, and recommendations in this thread. This thread recurs every 14 days.

First and foremost, this is a Canadian Gun subreddit, so keep it at least decently related to both of those things.

This thread is not for general politics, there are plenty other subs that are meant for that. Off-topic threads may be removed, especially if they are leading to personal attacks, flame wars, etc.

To prevent the main sub being flooded with dozens of similar threads, text posts complaining about/asking about/chatting about gun politics will be sent here.

We understand that politics is a touchy subject, and at times things can get heated. A reminder of the subreddit rules, when commenting, where subreddit users are expected to abide.

Keep this Canadian gun politics related and polite. Off-topic stuff, flame wars, negative generalizations against groups, personal attacks and gate-keeping will be removed. Please flag any comments to bring to the attention of mods otherwise exercise your upvoting and downvoting ability.

Because you need to be proud your Canadian but hate your government I very much dislike my government BUT I love Canada more than anything and I’d still with liberals and carney in power I’d die for my country.. if you don’t feel the same way your just a baby or not a true Canadian.

The government is only in power because of Canadians. I’m supposed to be proud of people helping to actively fuck me over? And you’re willing to die for a country that’s threatening to throw people in prison if they don’t hand over their property to the government? A government that is repeatedly voted in by Canadians? You’re not very bright

… you still should love your country do you think I agree with gun buybacks and the other stupid BS our government is doing no but I LOVE my country regardless of whose in it or in power it’s called being a nationalist you’re just a pussy who would put his tail between his legs and become a 51st state then try to make Canada better then it is. You’re parents must not have fought for this country or even be from Canada because if they did you wouldn’t be as half disillusioned as you are buddy.
