.223 is only 0.003 more than .22, theyre basically the same round.

Except one is centerfire and the other is rimfire and the case size is way different

Man you never know I had someone argue for days that a .223 wasn't a .22 caliber bullet because it wasn't the same size case as a .22 rimfire
