Itās like the gangstas in the US who take the stocks off of SBRs and just have the buffer tubes stupidly sticking out the back of their SBR. And of course thereās no sights to be found on the picatinny rail which makes sense since they donāt aim a damn thing.

The .22 round is the backup weapon after you miss the first (and only) wild shot, to throw at your target while you run away to find another rifle round.
Everybodyās got jokes but Iāll give you the real answer. The people that use these types of weapons chop them up this way so that they can keep them concealed until theyāre close enough to reach out and touch their target. At the close proximities a hack job like this is meant to be used itās more of a lethal punch than a ranged weapon so it doesnāt need to be aimed.
The story said it was a sawed off Ruger .223 . I don't understand the showing of a .22 bullet. He apparently stabbed a guy that got away and told the cops. He caught 4 firearm charges. 1 would be illegal modifications and 1 would be no valid license. having ammo isn't illegal ... unless he had priors with conditions that said no guns and no ammo. that could account for the other 2 charges .

the .22 is an additive round, you stick it to the tip of the .223 with some chewing gum and voila, you've now got a .245! it'll also now penetrate level III+ armour like a tandem warhead on an RPG :p
I bought a small .69 caliber cannon at a gun show once. (It is horribly built lol). The first time I shot it I packed it so full of gunpowder the ball was barely in the barrel. Well i pointed it at a lake and set it off. No one seen a splash of any sort but the cannon did go like 8 feet backwards.
Yeah the having two different rounds is what got to me the most when I first saw the image I was like dah fuck? Like I've seen a lot of these off the street image bullshit where they have only like maybe 4 bullets or some odd amount but this is I think the first time I've seen someone with two bullets that are both different types.
Pretty often evidence tables show all the evidence siezed, not just evidence that is directly linked to each other. If the guy was carrying brass knuckes and a wad of cash that would probably be on the table too.
Same reason at a recent bust they had a crossbow on the on the table.
I too would like to know why there's a .22lr cartridge included in the photo shoot. Did he also have a box of .22lr ammo on him? Did he think it sounded close enough to .223 and bought it by mistake?
At some point of firearms proficiency you can aim with your eye, not that these guys are at that level of firearms proficiency but Iād wager I could aim and fire this thing in an effective way
Sometime I'm inclined to believe that these are made up by feds as propaganda, basically implying gun control works since criminals have to resort to such ridiculous setup for weapons
The majority of criminals who wield these bastardized firearms are career recidivists who don't care about being law abiding citizens nor fear the legal consequences because they know they'll receive light punishments due to systemic racism and the two-tiered, revolving door Canadian justice system.
