My fightlite Mission Configurable Rifle has sat idle for 6 years now, and counting. Notwithstanding the rifle's appearance here fitted with a "belt" of plastic dummy rounds with rubber links, it is legally fired using 5 round magazines or 5 round mini-belts and is semi-automatic only. It is merely another semi-automatic AR15 variant with a unique (and quitefascinating) dual-feed system. No need to get overly excited, there Poly.....

As I've said before. The Anti-Gun movement is as much about eradicating gun culture as it is protecting the public. They're just very careful to never say that because that would arguably be a Charter rights violation.

Nathalie Provost and company are convinced that gun culture breeds Right wing violent extremists. (I see it the other way around. Violent extremists are drawn to guns as a means to impose their views) So they are on a Holy Crusade to erase gun culture as a sweeping approach to coping with extremism.

That's why anything "tactical" is high on the list of banned weapons. Not because a .22 with black furniture is especially deadly, but because they are convinced that anyone who wants one is intent on murder practice.

So, with that in mind, this rifle hits all the buttons. If this was really a belt fed select fire weapon like it appears to be, it certainly would appeal to someone who dreams of "making Them all pay'.

The govs lying around the reason for the bans. We know they’re lying. They know they’re lying. Therefore logically we can assume they have anterior motives to disarm us.

The problem is; the urban Liberal rank and file, especially in Quebec, don't know they're lying.

As I've said recently to some very left wing folks in face 2 face convo: It's real easy to say we need more gun control when you have no idea how much gun control we already have.

Unless it's a subject that actually affects them, voters all over the spectrum have only a passing knowledge of most political topics. That doesn't stop them from having opinions mind you. You can totally invent a headline and ask a random person in the street and they will instantly form an opinion based purely on that fictitious headline. If you know the uninformed opinions the public has, it's easy to turn that to political advantage. (Classic Discworld "Headology' )

The people making firearms policy know almost nothing about actual firearms culture. And they are put into power by people who know even less.

And it's also easy to say that saving hypothetical lives is worth sacrificing sport shooting and recreational hunting when it's not you losing your hobby and property rights.
