New (to me) is this OIC 12(5) HK-93 5.56mm/.223 cal Sporting/Utility Rifle, purchased through Switzer's April 2026 Auction. It accepts proprietary 25, 30 and 40-round 5.56mm magazines, the latter being aluminum manufacture for light weight. Note the original South African ARMSON-brand Occluded-Eye Gunsight (OEG) in the 2nd photo, which was effectively the world's first mass-produced "red dot" sight in which one eye sees the dot on a black background and the other eye sees the target and surrounding terrain, over which the red dot appears. It takes some practice, but works quite well with some basic familiarity.

Not really. Been down THAT road before though, showing most of my collection on here. Equal amounts of hate and appreciation.... a mixed bag of a reaction. Reddit is a strange place....
