New NR UTAS Straight Pull 556/308?

I've seen some posts from a firearms retailer in Alberta social media and website and a couple private sellers online selling UTAS 556/308 AR10/AR15 straight pulls.

The rifle from what I'm reading is essentially an AR10/AR15 without a gas port in the upper and proprietary sized pivot/takedown pins to make it incompatible with normal AR10/AR15 but is otherwise it's an AR10/AR15.

Does anyone have any more information on this rifle? I can't find much online and there's no public FRT, I would imagine there's a private one that has not been released yet as it would be needed for importing the rifle from Turkey. Seems odd RCMP would've allowed this to pass as NR.

I would strongly suggest taking this post down as law enforcement monitors this page and this is not a safe space for illegal activities. Having this post up is likely gonna get the rifle banned next week just the same as other turkish bullpup shotguns have been banned the same way. Reach out to Swamp Donkey's and ask them yourself.

I take it you just got your pal last week and are unaware of how the rcmp functions.

The RCMP regularly monitors this page for illegal activities and there are several examples of such, namely someone who posted their guns and then made another post asking about a murder that happened on his street. He got a call from the RCMP 30 minutes later asking for him by his reddit handle.

Do you remember the Turkish NS4 bullpup shotgun? It was banned via FRT a few days after someone posted it here and it got hundreds of likes and thousands of views.

As I said, this is not a safe space to post illegal activities and ask about guns that are currently under the radar but otherwise legal.

Delete this post, and ask swamp donkey's about it, not 100k people on a public forum.

The firearm in question does not have an frt and the lower receiver is obviously an ar-15. My point being, don't post stupid shit online thinking its a safe space. This is a public forum monitored by the rcmp and viewed by 70k people weekly.
