Buy recommendations Henry supreme mag?

Post image

I just put a down payment on a Henry supreme 5.56 at my local gun store. I was under the impression that these magazines have to be pinned to 5 but my gun store employee said it's a 10 round limit which makes no sense to me. Is there some sort of loophole that he knows about and I don't? Or was he bullshitting / mistaken? Pic for attention.

Regardless, what is the best magazine option for these things in Canada? All I'm going to be using it for is target shooting for now.

Thanks In advance!

You can buy 10 round LAR15 pistol mags that are 100% legal and works with the Supreme.

that are 100% legal

That are believed by some to be legal, a legality that has never been tested in court or even had an opinion given by the RCMP

The Special Bulletin 72 says the kind of firearm it is designed for determines the maximum capacity, yes. But there is no legal opinion on "Does a magazine designed for the LAR15 pistol have a 5 or 10 rounds limit".

Is the LAR15 pistol a handgun commonly available in Canada is still an open question. You can argue on reddit that it is, I would not want to have to argue it in court.

The law is not magazine designed for handgun -> 10 rounds capacity

3 (1)(a)(i) magazine designed for a semi-automatic handgun that is not commonly available in Canada 5 rounds maximum
3 (1)(b) magazine designed for a semi-automatic handgun that is commonly available in Canada 10 rounds maximum
