Fix my gun Benelli M4 Rust? Brand new:/
Are these spots from a brand new m4 normal? They didnt seem to come off with clp and wiping. Just some oil/grease/dirt came off. Any help is appreciated!

You may not want to remove it actually. Many companies like Benelli and Glock ship their guns with what is basically copper anti-sieze on some working surfaces. It temporarily increases the wear on the part during the first couple hundred rounds to effectively polish them, making the gun run smoother in the long run.

It will disappear after you fire a few hundred rounds and you clean it with wipes and stuff like hops

I actually asked Benelli who also confirmed itโs just some material used to glue things together.
I can not remove it at all with any solvent, brush dosent work. Itโs not copper neither but something much harder. Just leave it wonโt affect anything.

Benelli uses copper lubricant when they ship out their shotguns, that's most likely it. Degreaser should be able to remove it, just make sure to re-lube it after, no fun when it's dry ๐
