So in essence, like we all knew this whole time, it isn't certain guns they want banned, it's all guns they want banned.

Exactly, death by 1000 cuts.

It’s the quiet “creep” that gets you. Government wants to take away your stuff wether it’s items or personal freedoms but they know drawing a red line in the sand gathers too much opposition so they just “micro-dose” toward their end goals.

They put things on a decade long plan because they know they’ll eventually be re-elected.

They wanted to tap our phones and computers 25 years ago. They can pretty much do it now.

They wanted to track your every movement. Now there’s cameras everywhere and pretty soon even your vehicle will monitor you.

Remember when you were called a conspiracy theorist for suggesting the government wanted to do these things?

Wonder who started that idea, hmm…

and fed in to a data centre with no warrant.. its like the patriot act in Canada

Careful, they'll be out to ban knives like the UK

22

u/Content_Sky_2676 Jun 13 '26

They're currently trying to raise a panic over slingshots in the UK... give an inch and it'll never end.

u/Rewindonemoretime Jun 13 '26

Give it time, we’ll need an RPAL and an ATT to take a butter knife from the drawer to the counter top. Assault style knife blocks? Forget it.

u/Nilotaus Jun 15 '26

They'll pick the countryside clean of all the rocks & sticks to disincentivize the creation of neolithic tools & weapons

Are chopsticks still legal?

It still cracks me up that there are some dumb fudds who still think they don’t want to ban all guns. They (the LPC) literally stand up and say how they respect hunters and sport shooters whilst banning every rifle suitable for certain types of sport shooting and making it impossible to buy new/replacement pistols and the fudds are like “tHeY’ll nEver Ban mY hUntinG rIfLe”🥴

The LPC/poly/the rest of their minions are dishonest straight up bad people who will lie and distort the truth to get what they want and what they want is zero civilian gun ownership 🤷🏼‍♂️

Direct quote from this sub: “they’ll never ban my 30-06, it’s too popular” there’s far too much division amongst firearms owners, while I’d say a good majority understand that the end game is an outright prohibition on all firearms ownership. Will it be tomorrow? No, but it will be in my lifetime if we stay the course.

u/NerfVice Jun 14 '26

>the fudds are like “tHeY’ll nEver Ban mY hUntinG rIfLe

Same thing is happening here in Australia. In the aftermath of the Bondi attack and subsequent hysteria, there still those who couldn't care less since it doesn't affect them and their milsurp rifle.

Yup, despite never-ending evidence of clear corruption and ineptitude, they’re fully on board with a total nanny-state so long as their team is running the show. It’s pretty pathetic 🤮

I think it's time we call it what it is - communism!

-11

u/escv_69420 Jun 13 '26

It is not that at all. Communism has some pretty awesome (theoretical) benefits for all the freedoms you'd lose.

This is just tyrannical horse shit.

5

u/ThrowRA_That_Owl_25 Jun 14 '26

Only on paper. Practically, it is what you are seeing today - erosion of all freedoms coupled with government involvement in near everything. Communist governments were/are tyrannical. Show me one that has not gone down that road???

-1

u/escv_69420 Jun 14 '26

They all have unfortunately, because humans are awful.

Communism is just the wrong word for what's happening right now and the more people misuse it, the less educated the speaker seems and it becomes easier for pro-government forces to write off any valid points being made.

If you call deeply oligarchal capitalists "communists." All they have to say is "no we're not", and they'd be factually correct, you'd look like a kook, and the argument is done.

Nothing these lizards are doing is "from each according to ability, to each according to need". We're losing freedom and not getting any free bread or cheap rent. It's the worst of both worlds.

Communism has never worked anywhere, ever and has always devolved into tyrannical bullshit also.

The crap we are seeing is the birthing of a thing called "stakeholder capitalism" (courtesy of the WEF). It is like a form of socialized "corpotacracy". It contains many overtones of socialism and so many just refer to it as communism in slang or vernacular. No need to get pedantic about terms. The bottom line...its not in our best interest and neither is communism.

Finally, someone gets it.

and the fudds are like “tHeY’ll nEver Ban mY hUntinG rIfLe”

The problem with old people, and Boomers specifically, is that they really don't understand the concept of dignity.

They're bitter that nobody survives life, so they want their last days to be filled with nothing that makes them feel a way they don't want to. They get buttmad about anything that represents risk, regardless of whether it poses one or not; best example of that is in 2020-2022.

Life in general serves no purpose to them, so they feel no moral hazard when it comes to banning life, and because they're beyond their productive years nobody can hold them to account for it.

This is the LPC "destructive-conservative" mindset.

I'm sick to death of hearing deprecating statements like this directed at the very people that helped them get to where they are in life.

you mean having micro plastic in my brain, no chance of owning a home, drowning in cost of living increases, and watching my country fall into shambles and sold off to the lowest bidder?

the people that helped us get to that place in life?

11

u/Q-Ball7 In the end, it's taxes all the way down Jun 13 '26 edited Jun 13 '26

Dignity is inherent. Respect is earned.

What have you done to earn my respect?

Because what you claim to have sacrificed wasn't your future; it was mine. It was easy to give up the ability to develop land because you didn't want to pay taxes. It was easy to give up the guns. It was easy to import millions of people rather than encourage the domestic population to propagate itself.

It was easy to shout "elbows up" and send the youth into economic war rather than permit the reformers to take power. That was clearly a sacrifice that you paid for.

I'll start protecting the respect of the old when the old start protecting the dignity of the young.

12

u/escv_69420 Jun 13 '26

Boomers got theirs. Then they helped us all be homeless on a scorching space rock covered in tyrannical assholes. See, he's helping!

None of this is caused by their selfishness, nope! It's because your 60 hour week isn't nearly as hard as their 30h week from 40 years ago that earned them a home and disposable income.

You're just a wimp that doesnt own a home and can't afford to have kids because you put avocados on your toast sometimes.

You're confusing me with someone that's voted liberal for the last 10 years. I wouldn't be caught dead voting liberal.

Your rant just proves that you can't fix stupid.

Rod Giltaca made a great analogy in a CCFR podcast. I'm paraphrasing but imagine a line outside of a store front. Handgun owners at the front, then sport shooters, then plinkers and hunters at the back of the line. Pretty soon there will be no one in front of the hunters and what do you think the Liberals will do then?

38

u/sounoriginal13 Jun 13 '26

And they called us conspiracy theorists for thinking it too. History tells us, disarming its citizens never goes well.

15

u/gspotcowboy Jun 13 '26

They're enabling wiretapping if they suspect you of modifying magazines.

Forget the shit we already knew: this likely means most of the users on this sub are already on a list for joking about pins falling out of magazines. Stay frosty out there folks

7

u/sounoriginal13 Jun 14 '26

I have never met anyone who has modified a mag like that. Everyones more worried bout staying compliant than taking dumb risks.

2

u/thecoolernameistaken Jun 14 '26

We’re already on lists for lesser things

4

u/yummybunnybear Jun 14 '26

When you keep going after "variants" and "loopholes" to ban "assault-style rifles", at some point every gun becomes a variant of a loophole of a variant of a loophole

1

u/fartsNdoom Jun 16 '26

leftwingers do this kind of thing all the time, it seems.

And they claim to hate fascism lol
