Gun and gear reviews Makasi imbound?

Just saw this post from Brigade. I have a feeling those are headed north.

I hope we get the 7.62 version

I'd love to be able to order a second upper in 7.62.

It’s x39 even that cheap at this point? Seems like 223 is similar priced now a days.

Ive never shot 5.56 but im willing to try. I just prefer 7.62 personally

I just find there’s a lot more quality ammo in 223 and 556.

That true. Part of why I want a 556 no matter what

I think many have stocked up on 7.62x39? Even though surplus has dried up, Norinco Red Box is still priced OK.

Some of us like to make barricade busters where shorter range is not a undue issue, and penetration is prized over range.

Never mind how devastating SP is for hunting.

I still prefer it well over the .300 blackout for everything but bullet selection.

Because of the naming convention and bolt/potential gas tube change, it might be a lot harder because of the long frt process.

It might be way simpler to simply buy a x39 upper for a drop in solution.

You could talk to the company and have Aztech run the parts.

No doubt you will be able to recoup your initial loss on the former upper for those wanting to experiment on the upper handguard and frame.

Even in failure, it would represent a valued set of spare parts.

I meant like a full upper with barrel and gas system. Just swap the lower over depending what I want to shoot.

I asked them about that and they said no 308 plans as of yet for makasi platform.
