Milbrook Strategic Sciences MFMD (Multi-Function Muzzle Device). A supressor, flash hider, and Muzzle brake.

Sadly with this government and all the bans they will either send them somewhere else or destroy them

Not a particular feature of the current government; when was the last time CAF actually sold surplus firearms / accessories to the domestic civilian market?

No, all issued rifles will get them.

How is it both a suppressor AND a muzzle brake?

Suppressors reduce recoil but don’t vent gasses out the sides like a muzzle break but are not quite as effective at reducing recoil as a brake.

A suppressor that directs and vents gasses out the side would reduce recoil more than a normal suppressor but also be MUCH louder than a standard suppressor.

This second bit would be fairly useless given 5.56 is very low recoil with a standard suppressor. Why significantly increase noise signature for a disproportionately small reduction in felt recoil.

Go do some reading and it'll tell you all about them
