I absolutely LOVE my 22/45 mark IV. My only complaint about it isn't even really an issue with the gun per se but actually an issue with how our regulations are defined. Because, in regards to handguns, the goverment chose the part of the gun that the sliding mechanism attaches to as the regulatory controlled part of the gun, aftermarket barrels for them are the part that's registered and controlled, unlike the overwhelming majority of other handguns where it's the grip/ frame that's controlled. This was annoying even before all the new regs got written since you had to go through the full handgun purchasing process just to but a new barrel since their "bolt" is attached to the barrel first. Now it's worse with the freeze in effect since once your barrel inevitably wears out you'll eventually have a useless gun unless you
Have the exemption for it.
