Gun and gear reviews Taylor arms 9mm TC73

Anyone have any experience with it? Came across my Facebook feed and my only negative feeling is that it’s not a DBM (or semi auto but that’s another issue) but it’s still a cool concept.

So Karl at inrangeTV did a review on the gun and there were a lot of bad things to say about it from the quality to fit and finish. I included a link down below. Personally I was interested till I saw the video personally you’re probably better off getting a 357/38 lever gun instead.

Honestly, the whole "this 9mm levergun sucks because it's the laziest possible conversion" is the entire reason there are basically no 9mm leverguns in the first place. This is the "fuck you, here's your gun in worse .357 Magnum, happy now?" of the gun world.

Manufacturers are content to sell you designs that haven't been revised since 1873 (or 1894) because you wanted something that looks like a cowboy gun, not because it's actually any good. And this thing is, clearly, the absolute minimum they could have done. Probably took the elevator dimensions straight off a .38 Short Colt conversion kit, too.

And it's not even like you can't make a good modern levergun. The Supreme is proof-positive of that. So's the Tombstone, to a lesser degree, even though it's literally just an 1873 action with a box magazine in place of the elevator mechanism.

It was a smart conversion base, but like you said, they just failed at properly designing the elevator and mag tube.
