Crypto was prohibited under PFR, Part 1, para. 87 - Meaning the RCMP has the opinion it is a variant of an AR15 or M4 pattern firearm.

On May 1, 2020, the Government of Canada prohibited the upper and lower receivers of M16, AR-10, AR-15 and M4 pattern firearms...

...meaning the Crypto upper is prohibited part.
