Buy recommendations Renegade MKII

Post image

Considering purchasing this, any advice on the optics or the magazine?

MKII owners, can I use this for shots beyond 100m? Is the vortex optic reliable enough for that?

Is there anything else I should add to my cart?

You'll quickly realize how short 100 yards is lol

When Trump got clipped in the ear by that kid and the conspiracy nuts were going on about what a long shot it was and how only a highly trained marksman could have missed by so little, and then I saw it was under 150 yards and was like wtf how did he miss such a close shot?

How do you need the target and what you're hitting?

I struggle at 25/50 with my tm22 and 1x prism dot.

I put a 3x prism on it and it helps a little but I still have a hard time at 50.

I have a 2.5x15 on my 5.56 RAR and can barely see anything at 200. I have no idea where I'm hitting anything even at 100.

I really need to get a spotting scope.

Im not shooting at 200 normally I should say.

100 yards with a 6x and 55gr .223/5.56 isn't bad at all on gongs, splatter targets etc. 150 it gets a bit trickier with the splatter targets. Still easy with the gongs. 200 on the gong is a fun challenge but on the normal paper target, I'm just doing my best haha. The 6x is weak at 200 for me.

The dot on the tm22 is just up to how well you can see haha.
